Mackenzie grew up in the studio under Natashia Medeiros and Tresa Mott at Tresa Mott's School of Dance and became a student assistant at a very early age. Mackenzie was a four-year member of the Knoxville Dance Team and went on to dance with the Central College Dance Team.
Mackenzie is a graduate Iowa State University, studying Accounting. She already knew the dance side and now has the business degree to help her in her journey. Mackenzie spent a lot of time at the studio when she was a student and is excited to be taking over the studio and continuing the legacy that was built before her by both Tashia and Tresa. "I am so thankful that I was able to dance in this studio and even more so to be invited back to teach. It was Tresa that sparked my dream to own a studio someday and Tashia who helped make that dream come true. I cannot thank both these wonderful women enough for everything they have done for me."
Dance has always been an important aspect of Mackenzie’s life. She is thankful to be able to continue this passion and share it with her students. She believes in creating for her students in not only skill, but what they need mentally. Dance has always been an escape for her, and she wants her students to feel that safety too any time they step into the studio.
