When the studio closed, she transferred to Cheryl’s School of Dance where she enjoyed being a member of the competition dance troupes and a member of a competitive tap trio. Jenny was also a competitive baton twirler throughout elementary and high school competing across the Midwest. In high school, she was a member of the Wapello Pom Squad competing at the ISDTA competition each year.
Jenny attended Central College following high school where she was on the competition dance teams all 4 years. She taught hip hop classes at The Dance Studio of Iowa in Pella for three years during college. She also worked as a choreographer for local dance teams. She majored in Elementary Education with Middle School Endorsements.
Currently teaching at Knoxville Middle School, Jenny enjoys teaching hip hop classes at the studio. During the summer, she also enjoys teaching the Adult Hip Hop class! Hip Hop quickly became a passion for Jenny in college and she loves sharing her passion with others!
